As the owner, I manage both nurseries and I hold a Degree in Early Years, the Early Years Professional Status and a Cert Ed. I have over 35 years’ experience both working with young children and training and assessing nursery nurses. I am really passionate about children having the right start in life and have strong beliefs that children’s emotional security forms the foundation for learning.
We have a highly qualified and experienced management team which consists of: two members who hold a Degree in Early Years and Early Years Teacher Status, each having 12 years’ experience; one who is a fully qualified teacher with 12.5 years’ experience; one who is nearly at the end of her second year of her Early Years Degree with 7.5 years’ experience; and one who is nearly at the end of her first year of her Early Years Degree with 13.5 years’ experience.
Together we are the driving force of the nurseries and all share the same ethos.
Our staff are our most valuable resource and as such are chosen very carefully. They all have a genuine love of children and are highly committed to the care, welfare and education of children. In order to maintain our high standards, staff are supported in their professional development, which is reflected in their levels of qualification. All our staff hold a level three qualification in childcare, except three who are presently working towards it. All our staff are qualified in Paediatric First Aid and Safeguarding.
