Our under two year olds are called Rompers and our children stay in this group until we feel they are ready to take that next step into our Forest Nursery. We prepare them for this next step by spending shorter periods in our outdoor area alongside their key person.
The rest of their day is divided between the sensory room and their base room. Their base room consists of a large carpeted area with a large wooden climbing frame to aid their physical development, a story cave, a natural area, a quiet area with cozy floor beds where they can have a nap if they want one and a small imaginative area. The furniture is carefully spaced to aid the babies who are starting to cruise and enough space for the ones who are starting to run! We have a large floor space for all our sensory and messy play that the children love to explore in.
